If you are in or near Harlingen in Texas, know that The Market at Wild August is the best time and place to buy some of your necessities. It is held every Saturday from 9 am to noon at Wild August Nursery and Flower Farm. Here, you can buy organic produce, hot coffee, fresh salsa and baked goods, farm-fresh eggs, grass-fed pork, fresh goat cheeses, local honey, bath and body-care products, artisan leather goods, wild-caught Gulf shrimp, and fresh-cut flowers.

El Sabino Family Farm is a 3rd generation family farm located in Deep South Texas. They are also currently farming over 1,800 acres of vegetables every year. And also, they have another 600-700 acres of row crops (Cotton, Corn, and Grain). They also grow over 25 different types of vegetables and continue to trial new vegetables in addition to their current offerings. This is also the "personal farming operation" of "Val Verde Vegetable Co." which is "one of the oldest packer/shipper/importers in Texas". They have "the best" okra which you can make into "some stewed okra, Yum!!" Constanzo Farm, Inc. was originated in 1915 by Tony Constanzo Sr. after coming to the United States from Italy. The Constanzo's hired Brad Stull, a Texas A&M Graduate, to help with daily operations, set up and delivery of orders, and to manage the pesticide control program in order to give its customers the best quality product. They are now buying from six local farmers, giving them the opportunity to be a part of a larger operation and sell on a scale they would not otherwise be able to compete. They also have two refrigerator trucks for delivering produce to buyers. Their current base includes H-E-B, Fresh From Texas, and local Markets. Their number of employees ranges from 3-20 people depending on crop and season. Also, Constanzo Farm works with contracted harvesters to meet the growing market. Constanzo Farm, Inc. has earned the reputation of a reliable, reputable, and honest company. "And they have the best and freshest veggies ever".

Gundermann Acres is owned and operated by Garrett and Stacie Gundermann. Originally named Gundermann Farms, Garrett took over running the farm from his parents in 2009. He is a fourth-generation farmer, and, with his wife Stacie, has two children. The farm grows over 90 varieties of fruits and vegetables! Gundermann Farms only used to grow peaches when Garrett’s grandparents were running the farm. In the 1990s, his parents expanded the farm’s operations and grew a variety of fruits and vegetables. When Garrett and his wife took over, they christened the farm Gundermann Acres. These days, with help from real and adopted families, friends, and staff, the farm participates at two Houston area farmers markets – Urban Harvest at 2752 Buffalo Speedway (from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm) and Imperial-Sugarland at 234 Matlage Way (from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm).

In its earlier days, Gundermann Acres graced Peachland's landscape, but in the mid-1990s, Garett Gundermann's parents transitioned to growing fruits and vegetables. Today, Garett, a fourth-generation farmer, and his wife Stacie manage the 500-acre farm in Wharton County, Texas. At the local farmer's markets, they offer a diverse array of seasonal produce, including arugula, green beans, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, sweet corn, cucumbers, cauliflower, and kale. Their offerings also include strawberries, melons, and citrus fruits. Catch them mainly at Urban Harvest in Houston and Imperial-Sugarland in Sugarland, Texas.

The D-Bar Farm & Nursery is a 40-acre farmland with eleven greenhouses. It has been providing fresh produce in Denton since 2005. While they only joined in 2005, Keith, the person behind D-Bar Farm & Nursery, has been growing crops for over 40 years. They offer greenhouse crops and field crops. In addition, they also grow plants through hydroponics. Their lettuce are grown primarily on the hydroponic system. They also sell kale, spinach, collard greens, napa cabbage, swiss chard, bok choy, beets, cucumbers, and watermelon radishes. People love their locally-grown crops. Some even claim that they are the best produce around that they won't buy from anyone else.
