Located in Fort Worth’s historical Hell’s Half Acre, Wild Acre Brewing Company’s brewery and taproom are surrounded on one side by a wooded area. Opened in 2016 by owner/founder John Pritchett, the brewery has announced ongoing expansion plans for the brewery. Unlike other brewery owners and founders, John’s background is in beer distribution. The brewery expands its footprint and distribution capabilities with the opening of the brewery’s second location at the Ridglea Hills neighborhood. The new 3,000 sq ft second location has its own brewing system and restaurant. Expect to find their lineup of quality craft beer such as their Ranch Style Pils and T-Hawk IPA.

Their urban production facility and tasting room is located on the west side of Fort Worth and is only 8 minutes from downtown. Mockingbird Food Company is a family business focused on creating artisanal food products.  Located at the market and culinary studio, The Table, Mockingbird Food Co. specializes in making “sourdough bread, soups, entrees, fermented goods and a host of ever-changing chef-driven products.” This artisanal food products company is run by Fort Worth Native, Culinary Institute of America, and Executive Chef of Café Modern inside the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Dena Peterson Shaskan, and her husband, political science professor turned baker from San Francisco, Trent Shaskan.
