Notably, Kevin's expertise caught the attention of a neighboring family with a history of shallot cultivation dating back to the 1800s. Entrusting him with their surviving shallot plants, Kevin's skillful nurturing led to a substantial harvest in 2008, allowing him to supply local Whole Foods stores and directly serve families by 2009. Brachgrove Farm doesn't stop at shallots; it boasts an array of crops, from Oxblood lilies and onions to corn and broccoli.
