Wild Acre Brewing Company

Craft Brewery in Fort Worth - 18.42 mi

Located in Fort Worth’s historical Hell’s Half Acre, Wild Acre Brewing Company’s brewery and taproom are surrounded on one side by a wooded area. This “surprising bastion of nature” is just a mile or two from bustling downtown Fort Worth. The very large climate-controlled 5,000 sq ft taproom also features a landscaped outdoor beer garden. Opened in 2016 by owner/founder John Pritchett, the brewery has announced ongoing expansion plans for the brewery. Unlike other brewery owners and founders, John’s background is in beer distribution. The brewery expands its footprint and distribution capabilities with the opening of the brewery’s second location at the Ridglea Hills neighborhood. The new 3,000 sq ft second location has its own brewing system and restaurant. Expect to find their lineup of quality craft beer such as their Ranch Style Pils and T-Hawk IPA.

N2 Vino Winery

Winery in Lake Worth - 25.65 mi

If you are looking for a "great wine dive with friendly service, N2 Vino Winery is the place". When you are going to visit, this "hidden gem", they are "not easy to locate but well worth the search". This "little winery" is "located directly behind Home Depot" in "NW Fort Worth". You will be amazed, the "atmosphere is very laid back and cute".  Their "wines are so delicious" and the pairings including the "cheeses are very tasty and the homemade chicken salad will not disappoint". There is no additional "amount of sulfites" to their wines which are meant "to be drunk within a year".

The Manhattan Project Beer Company

Craft Brewery in Dallas - 27.76 mi

The Manhattan Project Beer Company’s name is a nod to the scientific way the brewery’s founders create their beers. Of course, the brewery’s name also makes for cool beer names. Consider Particles Collide (a Hazy IPA), Atomic Alliance (a piña colada IPA), and their infamous Bikini Atoll (a Gose). The most fascinating thing about The Manhattan Project Beer Company besides their delicious beers, however, is how the founders upended everyone’s business plan. The founders essentially proved that one didn’t need a taproom or own a brewery to succeed in the brewery business. Their story started with a brew created for a wedding, which led to a win at a homebrewing competition, and finally culminated in their “renting brewing space like a room on Airbnb”. Since those early days in 2016, founders Misty Sanford, Karl Sanford, and Jeremy Brodt have enjoyed a cult-like following. They’re expecting to open their taproom in late 2019.
