The Brewtorium in Austin opened in March 2018 with the team of Chris, Whitney, Kristie, and Dave on board. Chris and Whitney, a husband and wife team and the founders of the brewery, had their first date at a pub and shared a deep love for craft beers. With Whitney as CEO and Chris as Head Brewer, they’ve taken in Executive Chef Dave to pair German-inspired food to go with German-style beers, the style preferred by Chris who’s of German ancestry. Restaurant-veteran Kristie, meanwhile, completes the group as General Manager. The Brewtorium has a spacious taproom and outdoor patio in N. Central Austin.
