This small “hyper-local” brewery plans on working the Lubbock area for now, and their taproom is just open every Saturday from 2pm to 9pm. However, there’s nothing plain about brewery. In fact, they’re proud of the no-frills, “nothing fancy” tag. What they are proud of is their “just plain good beer”, which is really what a brewery should be all about. As with most breweries, Mickey Minter started as a home brewer. After many years working at an oilrig, he and wife Debbie finally decided to open the brewery. In 2015, they started commercial operations. Today, they have their beers in taps at their taproom, at other local businesses, and in local supermarkets.
