Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches started in 2017 as a family-owned and operated kolache bakery, taproom, and retail craft beer shop. Founders and brothers Noah and Josh Lit introduced Austinites to their preference of downing their kolaches with their favorite beers. Batch's beer selection came from local craft breweries and European breweries. In addition, they also had cans and bottles from many breweries, and coffee for non-beer drinkers. After a couple of years just serving other breweries’ beers with their kolaches, the brothers collaborated with John Snyder and Heath Shuford. Together, they launched a 2019 Kickstarter campaign to start their own brewery. Batch has since released their first batch for their 2^nd year anniversary celebration in August 2019 – a “saison aged in Cabernet barrels with pink peppercorns, Texas wildflower honey, and dandelion”. They also sold Batch Bottle Club, Elite Brewery, and Beer for Life memberships, which ended in October 2019.

From the idea of "sharing her favorite childhood breakfast treat" to "uncovering that both of her great-grandparents were actually Czech bakers," the owner and baker of Moonstone Baking Co., Kelsie, has indeed found a deeper connection and a new meaning in baking and handcrafting her kolache creations. And one thing she is proud of, that all her baked treats are made from "consciously sourced ingredients."  Ingredients do matter, as she uses only the highest-quality, organic, and local products. Check out her specialty Texas-style, grass-fed beef kolaches, as well as other savory options, plus the seasonal fruit variants. Everything that is “fantastic,” “heavenly,” and “amazing” that will surely "make your day a little sweeter."  

Everything you need, they’ve surely got it!  Texas One Stop is a family shop and your “’not so little c-store’ located midway between Houston and Austin on Highway 71.” Drop by to stretch your legs during a road trip, or just grab some fresh air while you eat and do some shopping.  They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, such as their famous bbqs and other meats, and of course, they have an in-house bakery which serves homemade and locally sourced breakfast sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, kolaches, cookies, cakes and other pastries.  They even do custom cakes too, for any special occasion!
