Jollisant Farm opened in 1955 as a dairy. However, in the 70s, it closed. While this is an unfortunate fate, the garden at the farm stayed. In 2008, the Jollisant Farm started selling veggies. Then in 2012, they already have a pick-your-own strawberry farm. Currently, they allow their customers to pick not just berries but also vegetables from the farm. Moreover, they sell fresh eggs and blackberries. In recent years, they have continued to develop the farm by adding a picnic area and a small playground so families can enjoy the farm better. In the fall, they also have a corn maze and a pumpkin patch. While the latter is seasonal, let's not forget to support the farm's main business venture which is growing fruits and veggies

Neal’s Berry Farm in Waller, TX is a working farm. It features a “U-Pick” (pick your own fruits and vegetables) activity for the whole family. The farm opened in 2009 in Spring, TX. However, they moved to its present location starting in 2018. The kids will love walking up and down the farm’s rows of thorn-less berries and figs - the farm's main crops - to fill their own baskets. They also have some vegetables and zinnias available for U-Pick. The farm has secondary crops of peaches, nectarines, and other orchard fruits and vegetables but these are pre-picked and only available for sale at their farm stand located within the property. The Laughing Frog Farm is a small farm in Waller County, Texas. It is a 21-acres farm that is sitting in a partially wooded land. Since then, the farm is using permaculture methods and organic principles in raising their trees, vegetables, and gulf. They are mostly raising heritage breeds like Coast, Native Sheep, and Freedom Ranger chickens.
