Jim and Lisa Jenkins are the owners of Jenkins Sunshine Farm LLC that started in 2004. Their awards include The Green Parent Natural Beauty Award Bronze medal 2018, Clean Eating Clean Choice Award 2019, and Eco Excellence Awards Finalist 2019. Moreover, it is a diversified and sustainable teaching farm where they raise St Croix haired sheep, donkeys, barn pigeons, free-range chickens, rabbits, ducks, geese, eggs, sheep, and lamb meat. Additionally, natural skin care products such as soaps, lotions, body powder, scrubs, and fragrancing items are available, as well as herbal remedies and CBD therapeutics. Also, they offer farm tours daily with a guided tour through the gardens, animal barns, and an aquaponics greenhouse. If you want to visit them, they require an appointment. 

Neal’s Berry Farm in Waller, TX is a working farm. It features a “U-Pick” (pick your own fruits and vegetables) activity for the whole family. The farm opened in 2009 in Spring, TX. However, they moved to its present location starting in 2018. The kids will love walking up and down the farm’s rows of thorn-less berries and figs - the farm's main crops - to fill their own baskets. They also have some vegetables and zinnias available for U-Pick. The farm has secondary crops of peaches, nectarines, and other orchard fruits and vegetables but these are pre-picked and only available for sale at their farm stand located within the property.
