Bankhead Brewing Company

Craft Brewery in Rowlett - 23.40 mi

Bankhead Brewing Company is the brainchild of chef Kevin Lefere and brewmaster Ryan Pyle. They were both eager to open their own brewpubs, but didn't feel equipped to operate and manage a successful brewpub on their own. A chance introduction by mutual friends in 2014 eventually blossomed into a partnership. By Spring 2016, they opened Bankhead Brewing Company. The brewery’s namesake is the old Bankhead highway. Built in 1916, the highway ran from Washington, D.C. to San Diego and spanned downtown Rowlett. The pioneering spirit that built the highway reflects the same spirit that inspired its founders to build their own brewery and restaurant. One hundred years later, the pair are serving their award-winning craft beers and delicious, fresh-from-the-wood-burning-oven food in downtown Rowlett.

Pegasus City Brewery

Craft Brewery in Dallas - 23.41 mi

Voted "Best Local Brewery" by Dallas Observer, Pegasus City Brewery is an Independent, craft brewery located in the Design District of Dallas, Texas. They are using their space in one of downtown Dallas’ oldest buildings to brew limited-production offerings and test out new recipes alongside a bar area that will stay true to the building’s history. Will Cotten is the Brewmaster, and one of the co-founders at Pegasus City Brewery. He began home brewing in 2011, and his passion for making “great-tasting beer for family and friends” led him to pursue a commercial brewery of his very own. Pegasus City’s ambition is to change the drinking scene downtown without changing much about itself. Small but mighty, their taproom is a place to relax, enjoy a cold brew, and be among friends.

White Rock Alehouse & Brewery

Craft Brewery in Dallas - 23.55 mi

This means one can have a beer or two after a walk, run, or bike around the White Rock Lake. It’s perfect for those seeking a place to rest and relax. The brewpub also offers up 36 beers on tap. Some beers also come from the brewery’s own lineup of craft beers. This lineup also includes their 2019 US Open Beer Championships silver medal winner IPO IPA.
